Yorktown Material Donates to Williamsburg
Yorktown, VA - July 1, 2009 - Yorktown Materials Stone Center recently donated materials for two new paver walkways at the First Colony Pavilion. Extra Mile Landscapes donated labor for the installation. Neighborhood volunteers assisted Jesse Mchose from Extra Mile Landscapes and Scott MacLeod from Yorktown Materials with installation. Several times each year Yorktown Materials selects jobs where they are able to demonstrate what it is to give and serve others in the community.

Scott MacLeod Receives Level 2 ICPI Certification
Yorktown, VA - July 1, 2009 - Scott MacLeod with Yorktown Materials recently earned his Level 2 Paver Installation Certification through ICPI (Interlocking Concrete Paver Institute). Scott completed 24 intensive continuing education credits before receiving his certification. The ICPI program provides advanced education on the construction of interlocking concrete pavements. There are over 16,000 Level 1 installers in the U.S, 17 Level 2 and Scott is the first and only in Virginia.
